Mediator Ethics, Professionalism & Discipline

 

DRC Senior Court Operations Consultant Kimberly Kosch provides an one-hour presentation on mediator ethics and professionalism with lessons learned from mediator discipline cases.  Discipline cases involving a lack of professionalism, demeanor or integrity will be highlighted along with sanction(s) imposed by the Florida Supreme Court’s Mediator Qualifications Discipline and Review Board (MQDRB) or sanction(s) accepted by the mediator in lieu of formal discipline by the MQDRB.  The Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators will be discussed.  The program is eligible for 1.0 hour of mediator ethics CME.  The Florida Bar has approved the presentation for 1.0 hour of legal ethics, course number 2208434N.  CLE availability ends on June 30, 2024.
